The $1,000.00 CHALLENGE!

In a previous lecture on Biblical Historicity, I elaborated on a SQUARING THE LIGHT segment focused on Jacob and Joseph.  I asserted that the Biblical Joseph was a complete fiction, that he didn't actually  exist during a time in which he could have only  existed --- during the so-called Hyksos Occupation, in the 16th Dynasty of Egypt's Second Intermediate Period.  Several people have challenged my assertion.

Next, I hypothesized that the purpose of the fiction was to fabricate a genealogical connection between the Biblical Joseph and Yakub-har, an actual historical person attested to in Egyptian records.  I was challenged on this as well.

Lest I be accused of employing double-speak and other under-handed tactics, I will reiterate with additional clarity the points of my argument for the further cogitation of my challengers, supporting them with three verifiable sources: (1) The Biblical account of Jacob and Joseph as narrated in the book of Genesis; (2) The Egyptian records (Hatshepsut's Speos Artimedos Inscription, in  particular); (3) The archaeological record (the evidence of foreigners in Egypt coinciding with the introduction of the horse-drawn chariot of war); and finally, (4) Simple logic.

May my challengers prepare themselves accordingly.  And when you lose?  The only thing you'll owe me  is my propers!
