SQUARING THE LIGHT 1 (The Intro) begins with a Primary Empirical Nexus, presenting the FACTS concerning Jacob and Joseph and their proper place on Egypt's historical timeline. Were they historical, or just meant to function as literary bench-markers on a mythical landscape? Do you know how to prove if they really existed or not!?! SQUARING THE LIGHT will show you how.
For example, a deeper insight of the significance of On (Heliopolis) will be offered. Without thoroughly dissecting and analyzing it in both its Biblical and Egyptian context, you could easily be misled into thinking that it was a nome dedicated solely to the worships of Tem and Ra. However, when reading ancient Egyptian sources containing this name, one discovers that as early as the 4th Dynasty, On was a locality of singular prestige, easily recognizable by the deference given to its native priests and sages. For instance, one learns that Snefru, the first king of the 4th Dynasty (c. 2613 - 2589 BC), was entertained at his court by a wise man named Neferti who hailed from On. Snefru invited him to prophesize about the things yet to come. This has come down to us as The Prophecy of Neferti and, as far as I know, is the oldest one ever written! After Snefru, his son Khufu ascended the throne (c. 2589 - 2566 BC). During his reign we discover, via the Westcar Papyrus, that there is a sanctuary for the God Djehuty built in On. Hidden within his sanctuary was a secret chamber containing a chest that also held a great secret. Khufu was desperate to know this secret, for by knowing it he would be able to build a certain structure according to a specific design. To most who've read this story, that specific design remained a mystery. There had been much speculation as to what the great secret actually revealed, but no one had been able to give an acceptable explanation. Until Robert Bauval , who was not a reputed authority in Egyptology, re-discovered a pivotal part of it: Khufu's Great Pyramid of Gizeh was designed with perfection! Perhaps knowing the nature of that secret now resides in understanding the relationship between the Utchat of Djehuty, Asar (Osiris)-Aah, and Unas (the last king of the 5th Dynasty, but the first to have a pyramid containing the sacred glyphs of Djehuty!).
